Cantacuzino Castle – Sinaia Monastery – Peles Castle
Peles Castle is a Neo-Renaissance castle in the Carpathian Mountains, in Sinaia, in Prahova County, on an existing medieval route linking Transylvania and Wallachia, built between 1873 and 1914. Its inauguration was held in 1883. It was constructed by Carol I, now is one of the most beautilul castles from Europe.
Cantacuzino Castle is built in Neo-Romanian style, the only Romanian style of architecture history which has revived the tradition, strengthened the origins and connected them to the present.
The Sinaia Monastery is located in Sinaia City in Prahova County, it was founded by Prince Mihail Cantacuzino in 1695 and named after the great Saint Chaterine’s Monastery on Mount Sinai in Egypt.
